I could rant for hours on this, but I'm not going to.

Suffice to say, this pairing needs to be considered far more than it is.  Think about it- this is really Chase's only canonically plausible, two-sided pairing, considering he shows virtually no interest in Jack (I am still a die-hard Chack lover, but that's just how it is) and Omi shows virtually no interest in him.  I'm not even remotely suggesting that this would work in present-day, because it wouldn't, but think about what they could have had in the past.  I honestly believe that Guan was the closest friend Chase has ever had- Bean, if you recall, even refers to him as "the one you consider closest", which could refer to more than friendship (Bean's just observant like that, as we've seen numerous times).  That era seems to have been the one time both of them were truly happy, and in one way or another, they were happy together.

Even that rant was longer than I'd planned on it being, but oh well. :3
